Diversions after serious accident Five killed in two road accidents

There has been a serious traffic accident in Newry, County Down, the police have said. Five men have died in separate road accidents in Northern Ireland.
It happened on Tandragee Road, where diversions are now in place. There are no further details at present. Four men died and one man was injured in a collision between a car and a lorry in Newry, County Down, on Tandragee Road just before 1700 BST.
Earlier, five people were injured in two road accidents. A 42-year-old woman was hit by a lorry on Victoria Road in Londonderry at 2230 BST on Saturday. The injured person has been taken to the Daisy Hill Hospital. Police have appealed for any witnesses to the accident to contact them.
A 47-year-old motorcyclist injured in a collision with a van in County Tyrone on Saturday has also died.
The accident happened on Barony Road near Creggan Crossroads, the main Omagh to Cookstown road, at about 1320 BST. Police have also appealed for any witnesses to this accident to contact them.
Five people were injured, two seriously, in two earlier accidents over the weekend.
