Britons die in Bulgaria car crash

A Derbyshire grandmother and her grandson have been killed in a car crash in Bulgaria.

Another British boy was injured in the accident on Friday evening in the Black Sea resort of Varna, which also killed a Bulgarian adult in the same car.

According to local reports the car was hit by a bus. The grandmother and grandson were aged 54 and 11.

A spokesman for the Foreign Office said next of kin had been informed and it was providing consular assistance.

The Foreign Office said the injured boy is aged 10, while it was reported that the Bulgarian victim was 76.
