More charges in murder bid case

Two brothers accused of attempting to murder two boys will also go on trial charged with a separate attack on another child, a judge has ruled. The accused, aged 10 and 12, are charged with the attempted murder and robbery of a boy aged nine and an 11-year-old in Edlington, near Doncaster. They will also now be tried over an attack on another 11-year-old boy. The new charges are attempting to commit grievous bodily harm with intent and making threats to kill. The brothers are also accused of sex offences in relation to the alleged attempted murder. Their trial is expected to start at the court on 2 September. |
