A man has been charged with attempted murder following an incident at a house in Larne last month. A man has been remanded in custody at Larne Magistrates Court charged with attempted murder following an incident at a house in the town last month.
A 22-year-old man suffered serious head injuries after being assaulted at a house in Cairngorm Drive on 11 July. Jonathan Thomas Alexander Henry, 26, is accused of assaulting a man in Cairngorm Drive on 11 July.
A number of people are believed to have been involved in the attack. The man suffered serious head injuries in the attack and had to be treated in hospital.
The man who has been charged was arrested on Thursday afternoon. He is expected to appear before Larne Magistrates Court on Friday. Mr Henry, of Carson Terrace, Doagh, Newtownabbey, was ordered to appear before the court again on 25 September.
