Father Michael Milton, who conducted the service, described Cpl Mulligan as a man who "lived life to the full". | |
He told mourners his commanding officer had described him as being a "charismatic leader who died how he led his life, at the forefront of his men". | |
Father Milton said that when Cpl Mulligan's fiancée gave birth to their child it would be a "visible sign of the love they shared". | |
He also told how he loved sports and was a keen supporter of Celtic Football Club. | |
