A police spokeswoman said Mr McKeegan was hit by a car about one mile from the town on the Cushendall Road. The accident was reported at 0300 BST. | |
Local councillor, Oliver McMullan, who knows Mr McKeegan's family, said they would be "devastated" by the news. | |
