Karen Mitchell from the council said that it was unknown how the dogs came to be the area. Neither of the dogs had a collar, but both of the animals appeared to be well cared for.
"We've checked our records and neither appear to be licensed here, but not everybody gets a licence for their dog," she said.
The animals may have been abandoned in the area or have ran away.
