A fire engine, a car and a taxi were involved in the crash. The car was flipped onto its side and shunted against a wall, injuring a man, two women and two girls inside.
Five firefighters, three teenagers and three adults have been taken to hospital with at least one person's condition described as serious. Five firefighters and the driver of a taxi were also injured in the collision and all were taken to hospital.
