Police received multiple reports of a male armed with a rifle still shooting in the area as they responded to the scene, the Inquirer reported. Officers also reported hearing the gunfire. Just before 8.40pm, police officers said they had apprehended a male suspect wearing a ballistic vest and recovered a rifle and handgun in a nearby alleyway, the Philadelphia Inquirer reported.
