SDLP North Antrim MLA Declan O'Loan said the number of motorcyclists being killed on Northern Ireland's roads was "alarming".
"We all need to look at what can be done to make our roads and our traffic safer for everyone, including those on motorbikes," he said.
"Reducing road deaths is not just about making the roads safer. The behaviour of all road users is a very important factor also. Every road user must be very aware of their responsibilities."
