Two injured in town gang attack

Two men have been taken to hospital after being attacked in Banbridge, County Down.

The men, aged 23 and 24, were assaulted by a group of men in the Castlewellan Road area of the town at about 0140 BST on Saturday.

The victims were taken to hospital, where the 23-year-old is still being treated for serious facial injuries.

Police said a 19-year-old man had been arrested in connection with the incident.
