She was taken to hospital but died a short time later. Police said she may have been electrocuted The mourners at Holy Family Church were led by her parents, Natasha and Brian, and outside, members of Tia's Jiu Jitsu club formed a guard of honour.
Her family said she was a "beautiful little girl" who was "full of fun and dearly loved". Parish priest Father Sean McKenna said her death had shocked the community.
She will be buried after Requiem Mass at Holy Family Church. "Her death has come so tragically, while she was at play," he said.
"A thing that every child loves to do, to play, and for her to die during her play is a massive shock and loss for you, her immediate family, and for this entire community."
Tia was taken to hospital on Thursday following the fall, but died a short time later. Police said she may have been electrocuted.
