Homes evacuated after school fire | |

People living near a school which caught fire are being asked to leave their homes after fears were raised over gas cylinders on the site. | |
The fire at Archbishop McGrath Catholic High School at Tondu, Bridgend started at around 0300 BST. | |
It has since been put out but police are asking people living in around 80 homes nearby to leave because of the hazard of the gas cylinders. | |
Nearby Ynysawdre Comprehensive is closed as are roads around the area. | |
A cordon has also been put up around the site. | |
