Mr Jarvis was also charged with perverting the course of justice, fraud and theft, while Ms Heyster was also charged with perverting the course of justice and fraud.
On Thursday, Mrs Jarvis' four children said she was "a loving mum and grandmother who will be sorely missed by all her family and friends".
"She gave us everything we could ever have wanted, and left herself with nothing," they said.
"She was completely unselfish, and all she cared about was making us happy."
