Officers are appealing for any witnesses to the collision to contact them on 101. Mid and West Fire and Rescue Service said three crews from Brecon and one from Talgarth attended the scene after the alert was raised at 2239 BST.
After dealing with the burning vehicles, the crews provided lighting for police crash scene investigators to conduct their inquiry into the crash.
