The dead woman's name has not yet been released. She was the 88th person killed on Northern Ireland's roads so far this year. Meanwhile, one person has been seriously injured in a collision between a car and a motorbike on the Tummery Road in County Tyrone.
The Dromore Road in Omagh, which was closed between Lammy and Clanabogan, has now reopened. It happened on Saturday afternoon. The road is the main one between Irvinestown and Dromore.
The police have appealed for witnesses to contact them. The name of the woman killed in Friday night's accident has not yet been released. She was the 88th person killed on Northern Ireland's roads so far this year.
