The funeral of one of the five women killed in Suffolk before Christmas has taken place.

Annette Nicholls, 29, was remembered at a service in one of Ipswich's main cemeteries attended by about 50 people.

Her body was carried to the service in a hearse which had a wreath spelling out "Friend" along one window.

Steve Wright, 48, has been charged with her murder and the murders of Tania Nicol, 19, Gemma Adams, 25, Anneli Alderton, 24 and Paula Clennell, 24.

The five women, who worked as prostitutes in Ipswich, were all found dead close to the town within a two-week period in December.
