Man charged with woman's murder

Police have charged a 36-year-old man with the murder of a woman who died following an incident on Tuesday.

Bethan Callaghan, 20, died in hospital in Merthyr Tydfil after being taken there from Mountain Ash in the Cynon Valley.

Police said the man who has been charged with causing her death will appear before magistrates on Monday.

Officers have said they are still appealing for information about the incident.
