A staff member at the DVLA in Swansea has been taken to hospital with hand injuries after a parcel bomb exploded. Four workers at the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority (DVLA) building in Swansea, have been taken to hospital after a parcel bomb exploded.
The attack happened in the post room shortly before 0930 GMT and is possibly being linked to other devices sent across the UK. The incident happened in the post room of the Swansea site shortly after 0920 GMT.
The bomb could confirm fears that a motorist is mounting a campaign. Home Secretary John Reid said the incidents were "worrying". Seven devices have been received across the UK in the last three weeks, with six people suffering minor injuries.
Six people have been injured in similar incidents reported this week. The attack in Swansea follows others on motoring-related companies this week in Folkestone, Wokingham and London.
On Tuesday, two men suffered blast wounds in the explosion at the offices of Vantis in Wokingham.
The bomb disposal unit arrived at 1300 GMT
And on Monday, a worker was hurt by a device at the offices of Capita, which runs London's congestion charge system.

"They are bringing sniffer dogs in and there are a lot of nervous people working there."
Ms Hodge added workers had been told to report as normal on Thursday.
