Mr Wright said: "It is consistent, we say, with the type of fieldcraft which is of use if one is engaged in terrorist activity and wishes to maintain a degree of secrecy about their conduct." Mr Wright said: "We say such material is consistent with him fundraising for terrorist activity or contemplating taking his own life and making provision for his family."
The prosecutor said Mr Khatib's fingerprints were found on an empty packet of latex gloves in the "bomb factory" used by Ali and Tanvir Hussain.
He was also said to have visited Pakistan from where the men were being directed, the jury heard.
He added that Nabeel Hussain met Ali in Lloyd Park, Walthamstow during a "particularly busy time" in the plot.
Mr Wright said: "Why would it be that Mr Ali would have time to engage in this meeting unless... that meeting was indeed between two men who were both engaged in terrorist activity at that time."
