Woman to auction 'spud of love'

A Herefordshire woman is auctioning a heart-shaped potato to raise money for charity.

Becky Needs from Hereford found the vegetable in her weekly shopping and has called it The Spud of Love.

She has put the item on the internet auction site eBay and will donate any money raised to 10 charities, including the British Heart Foundation and WWF.

Ms Needs has suggested the item could be "cooked and then frozen to be given as a Valentine's Gift".

Her auction closes on 24 October.
