No action is to be taken against three people who were arrested following the death of a Cumbrian teenager in a quad bike crash.

Damien Gardner, 19, of Nelson Street, Millom, was killed in the crash in Main Street, Haverigg on 6 August.

Three car drivers - two men aged 20 and 21, and a 19-year-old woman - were subsequently arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.

The Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) has said no further action will be taken.

An 18-year-old who was also on the bike suffered non-life threatening injuries and was treated in hospital.
