Father accused of child murders

Two-year-old Theo Molemohi and his sister Yolanda, aged four, were found unconscious by their mother at a flat in Whalley Road, Manchester, last week. They were pronounced dead a short time later. A post-mortem examination showed the children had been strangled. Petros Williams spoke only to confirm his name, age and date of birth, and was remanded in custody at Manchester Magistrates' Court. Mr Williams, who is also known by the surname Mwashita, is charged with two counts of murder and is due to appear at Manchester Crown Court on 4 January. |
