Man charged over city flat murder

A man has been arrested and charged with the murder of a woman whose body was found in a flat in Edinburgh.

Randa Kamblawi, 34, who was from Sudan in Africa, was discovered in the flat in Nicolson Street on Tuesday afternoon.

A spokesman for Lothian and Borders Police said a 45-year-old man was due to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Friday.

A team of 20 officers have been working on the investigation.
