Hello from lower Manhattan. I have joined dozens of other journalists in a line to enter the courtroom for the opening arguments of Trump’s hush-money trial. But Cheney - who is a leading critic of Trump - also warns that any delay to that case could have a “profoundly negative impact”. She argues that Trump is the man "most responsible" for the events of 6 January 2021, when rioters stormed the US Capitol building.
