One person has been injured after the horses are believed to have collided with traffic. What we know:
London Fire Brigade says the injured person was treated by ambulance crews, and one horse has been "secured" and taken to a safe area. London Ambulance Service was called to reports of someone being thrown from a horse on Buckingham Palace Road at 08.25 this morning
It's not clear how many horses were involved in the incident and how many are still running loose. Shortly afterwards, Metropolitan Police say they know there are a number of horses on the loose
Two horses - one black and one white - are filmed running along Aldwych
London Fire Brigade says one horse as been secured and taken to a safe area
City of London police say they have contained two horses near Limehouse - approximately five miles from Buckingham Palace Road
