Two held over 'unexplained' death

Two people have been arrested over the what police describe as the unexplained death of a 43-year-old man at a house.

Gwent Police said a 44-year-old man and a woman, aged 29, were in custody after the discovery at a property in Rhymney, Caerphilly county, at 0300 BST.

The coroner has been informed and a post-mortem examination is to be held to establish the cause of death.

Officers are appealing for anyone in the Hafod y Mynydd area of Rhymney at that time to come forward.
