Man charged with woman's murder

A man has been charged with murder after a woman's body was found at a house in Stockport.

The woman, believed to be 34-year-old Katherine Cullen, was found by police at her home on Harcourt Street, North Reddish, on Thursday.

Officers had been called to reports of concern for Ms Cullen's welfare.

On Sunday, police charged a 28-year-old man, from Urmston, with murder. He will appear before Stockport magistrates on Monday.
