More rail disruption after floods Weather accident motorist named

Rail services in the north east of Scotland continue to be disrupted after heavy rain brought flooding to many parts on Sunday and Monday. A motorist killed when his car crashed with a lorry during the heavy rain which swept parts of the country has been named.
Trains from Glasgow to Aberdeen are terminating at Montrose in Angus and the Edinburgh to Aberdeen service will stop at Dundee. William Cheyne, 66, of Crimond, died after the accident on the A90 Fraserburgh to Cortes road on Monday.
A bus shuttle will operate to take passengers to Aberdeen. Grampian Police said it was thought the crash may have been weather related.
There is further disruption on the rails between Aberdeen and Inverness, and some roads remain affected. Meanwhile, rail services continue to be disrupted after heavy rain brought flooding to many parts on Sunday and Monday.
