Heavy rainfall leads to flooding Roadblock set up over flood fears

There are reports of severe flooding in several parts of County Londonderry after heavy rainfall. Residents in Londonderry have stopped traffic driving along a main road in an effort to prevent their homes from flooding.
About 15 houses on a housing estate on the Old Letterkenny Road in Derry have been flooded. Heavy rain caused the Letterkenny Road to flood, putting 14 homes in Old City Close at risk of flooding.
Residents said they had no option but to block the road as the traffic was pushing water into their homes.
