Six people rescued from flat fire

The alarm was raised at about 0330 GMT on Thursday at the first floor property on Byres Road. Strathclyde Fire and Rescue said 16 fire crews were involved in tackling the fire and an investigation had been launched into how it started. Emergency services treated those rescued for the effects of breathing in smoke at the scene. |
