The Electoral Office is expected to release its official list of nominees on Tuesday evening. The Electoral Office has published the list of candidates on their website. Their address is: www.eoni.org.uk.
Although the figures have not yet been finalised, the BBC understands that, so far, there are 46 DUP candidates, 38 Ulster Unionist, 38 Sinn Fein, 34 SDLP and 18 Alliance candidates.

There are also 12 UKUP candidates - six of which are the party leader standing in different constituencies - 13 Green Party, nine Conservative and six Workers Party candidates. There are 46 DUP candidates, 38 Ulster Unionist, 37 Sinn Fein, 35 SDLP and 18 Alliance candidates.
Also running are: Four Make Politicians History candidates, three for the Progressive Unionist Party, and two for the Socialist Party. There are also 13 UKUP candidates - which includes the party leader standing in six different constituencies - 13 Green Party, nine Conservative and six Workers Party candidates.
Six Republican Sinn Fein candidates are also standing. They are being treated by the Electoral Office as independents, because they are not registered as a political party. Also running are three Progressive Unionist Party candidates and two for the Socialist Party.
There are also about 20 other independents. There is one candidate each for the following parties: Labour, Make Politicians History, People before Profit, Pro-capitalism, Social Environmental Alliance and UKIP.
There are 26 independent candidates, which includes six Republican Sinn Fein candidates. They are being treated by the Electoral Office as independents, because they are not registered as a political party.
