Road closures for football derby Fifteen arrests at football derby
(about 10 hours later)
Police are warning of traffic delays around Swansea's Liberty Stadium with some roads closed for much of Saturday due to the derby against Cardiff. Fifteen arrests were made at a derby football match between Swansea City and Cardiff City, say South Wales Police.
Motorists are urged to avoid Neath Road between 1000 and 1600 GMT and the A4067 dual carriageway after 1330 GMT. Two people were arrested during the game at the Liberty Stadium, Swansea which the home team won 3-2.
Extra officers and police vehicles will be on duty as the fixture was marred by crowd trouble last year. Another 13 arrests were made outside the stadium after the game. The arrests were for public order offences.
A sell-out crowd in excess of 18,000 will attend the match which kicks-off at 1245 GMT. However, police praised the majority of supporters for their behaviour before, during and after the game which was attended by more than 18,000 fans.
Both clubs have urged their supporters to be on their best behaviour following ugly scenes when they met last year. Divisional Commander for Swansea, Ch Supt Mark Mathias, who was in charge of policing the match, said: "The overwhelming majority of fans behaved extremely well.
Best behaviour
"There was some disorder in the Siloh Road area after the game but as a result of efficient policing this was limited and confined.
"I appreciate that big games such as this have an impact on the local community of Landore and I would like to thank residents for their understanding and support for which we are extremely grateful."

The road will be used to store additional police vehicles.
Access for residents will be subject to police control.
Police will also close the A4067 Ffordd Cwmtawe dual carriageway between the roundabouts with Cwm Level Road and Neath Road from 1330 GMT.
