A PSNI spokesman said officers had consulted fully with the organisers of the remembrance event. The secretary of the British Legion in the area, Jim Wilson, said he was "very disappointed".
Jim Wilson, who is the secretary of the British Legion in the area, said he could not understand why anyone would want to disrupt the ceremony. Meanwhile, police said nothing was found during searches in Loughgall following claims of a suspicious device in the Ballyhagan Road area.
Mr Wilson added: "When you plan something like this you want to see it going ahead and being completed and to remember what the idea is behind it. Officers have advised anyone who notices anything suspicious in the vicinity not to investigate or touch the object but report their concerns to the police immediately.

Mr Wilson said he could not understand why anyone would want to disrupt the Bellaghy parade which was due to take place earlier on Sunday.
He added: "When you plan something like this you want to see it going ahead and being completed and to remember what the idea is behind it.
