It is thought Mr Fallon worked as a caretaker for Gwent Theatre. Mr Fallon had worked as a caretaker for the Gwent Theatre Company, based in Abergavenny, for six years.
The theatre's website described his hobbies were art and landscape design. Its administrative director, Julia Davies, said: "We're very saddened by what has happened. He was a lovely, lovely man and a very valued member of staff.
"He had a northern sense of humour and that showed," she added.
