A mass shooting occurred outside the Amazura nightclub in Queens, New York on Wednesday night, according to media reports, citing witnesses and officials. Sources told the media that at least 11 people were injured. According to the New York Post, the victims were transported to area hospitals and all are expected to survive, as none of them are in critical condition. Ten people were shot outside a music venue in Queens, New York, when several men opened fire on a group waiting to enter, local police have reported.
The Amazura is a large venue with a capacity of 4,000, and regularly hosts DJs and live performances. A significant police and ambulance response was observed outside the nightclub.  The incident occurred around 11:18 pm on Wednesday, with about 90 people inside the venue and around 15 waiting outside. The victims, aged 16 to 20, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to local hospitals.
The motive behind the shooting so far remains unknown, and no suspects have been identified. The perpetrators are believed to have fled the scene, prompting an ongoing manhunt. The Queens Police Department is expected to provide more details in a forthcoming press conference.  Police reported that approximately 30 shots were fired, and the male suspects fled the scene on foot before escaping in a sedan with out-of-state plates. The authorities are investigating potential gang involvement, and have said the shooting was not a terrorist attack.
