Police have released a photograph of a distinctive jumper similar to the one he was wearing in the hope that someone may recognise it and get in touch. North Yorkshire Police said the man had been "informally identified" and it was trying to trace his next of kin.

The man was wearing a jumper similar to this one, police say He was found without any identification or personal belongings, prompting an appeal from officers to help identify him.
He was wearing brown walking boots, blue jeans with a brown belt, the knitted jumper with zip and hood, and possibly a dark green waterproof coat. A force spokesperson said there were no suspicious circumstances surrounding the man's death and formal identification would take place in due course.
North Yorkshire Police said: "Despite extensive inquiries, including with our colleagues in Humberside and West Yorkshire Police, we have been unable to identify him.
"He was found without any identification or personal belongings."
