Two Israeli hostages have been handed to the Red Cross in a highly-orchestrated event in Khan Younis. Three more Israeli hostages who were being held in Gaza have been freed as part of a ceasefire deal between Israel and Hamas.
Ofer Kalderon, 53, and Yarden Bibas, 34, were among the hostages taken to Gaza by Hamas during the 7 October attacks. Yarden Bibas, Ofer Kalderon and Keith Siegel were handed over to the Red Cross in highly-orchestrated events in Khan Younis and Gaza City on Saturday.
It is the fourth release of hostages since the ceasefire deal between Israel and Hamas began on 19 January.
