Alliance Party assembly member Trevor Lunn said the robbers were "beyond contempt".
"This was a sickening and cowardly robbery. What sort of people would do this to a 77 year-old woman?
"This incident will have shocked the local community and people will want these thugs taken off our streets as soon as possible," he said.
