I have problems hearing in theatres and cinemas (Letters, 17 February). Here in New Zealand, hearing loops are rare, so I had become resigned to missing out on dialogue and song lyrics. Then I went to see the Bob Dylan biopic A Complete Unknown, and I was offered a portable device to display captions. This fitted into the seat cup holder and could be placed just under the screen.
