The cast of the reimagined version of the Jersey-based TV show Bergerac are walking the red carpet in St Helier. The executive producer of the reimagined version of the TV show Bergerac said it was "an honour" to hold the premiere in Jersey.
Brian Constantine said the event, which began at 15:30 GMT, would promise "an unforgettable evening" at Cineworld in St Helier.

"It is an honour to hold the Bergerac premiere in Jersey, the home of this iconic series," he said. The actor starred in the last ever episode of the original Bergerac series alongside Bill Nighy, Simon Williams and John Nettles.
"Bringing the show back to where it all began is incredibly special and we are thrilled to celebrate this moment with the local community." He said: "It was a really enjoyable show to make so to be part of the new series is really special for me.
"We were here around August and September so the weather was fab, the people were lovely and the company was great."
Season One of Bergerac will air on Thursday

Mr Constantine said the premiere "promised to be an unforgettable evening, marking the beginning of an exciting new chapter for Bergerac".
He added: "Islanders are encouraged to come and watch the arrival of the guests, interact with the stars alongside the red carpet, and give them all a real Jersey welcome."
