Two men who died after the stolen car they were travelling in went out of control and crashed in Ballyclare, County Antrim, have been named locally. | |
Gary Withers and Thomas Morrow, both 23 and from Larne, died after the stolen car they were travelling in crashed on the Colin Road on Saturday afternoon. | |
The car, a Subaru, had been stolen from a house at Killyglen Road in the town earlier that day. | |
Police saw the car in Ballyclare town centre shortly before the accident. | |
However, a spokesperson said that police lost contact with the vehicle and the car was not being pursued when it crashed. |
