The M4 has reopened eastbound near Bridgend after it had been closed when two cars were involved in a collision.

The crash took place between junction 36 at Sarn and junction 35 at Pencoed early on Monday.

One of the vehicles had ended up on its roof, while the other had collided with the central reservation of the motorway.

South Wales Fire and Rescue Service said its officers had helped to clear up the carriageway.
