National Rail reported a blaze next to a track in Knebworth near Stevenage at 18:56 BST. Hertfordshire Fire and Rescue Service said one engine was sent to the scene in Knebworth near Stevenage at 18:56 BST.

Hertfordshire Fire and Rescue Service said it sent one engine to the scene and that it expected the incident to be dealt with quickly. In an update on X just after 03:00, train company Thameslink confirmed the fire had been dealt with but said further disruption was possible where trains had been unable to return to base in time to start services on Saturday.
Commuters were warned that services to King's Lynn, Ely, Peterborough, Cambridge and Letchworth Garden City could also be affected.
Great Northern and Thameslink rail operators said replacement buses were requested.
