A man has been charged with murdering his elderly father in County Armagh earlier this month. A 35-year-old man has appeared in court charged with murdering his elderly father in County Armagh.

The pensioner's 35-year-old son, who also called Michael, was arrested at the scene of the murder. The pensioner's son, Michael Philip McGleenon from Cliveden Crescent in Belfast, was charged at Craigavon Magistrates Court on Wednesday.
He is expected to appear before Craigavon Magistrates Court later. The case was adjourned and he was remanded in custody until next month.
The accused, who was arrested at the scene of the murder, is expected to appear again at the same court on 18 December.
