Upon arrival, they found a 66-year-old woman, and two children – aged six and seven – who were both deceased inside the home. | |
Police said the woman and children were known to each other. | |
The woman was arrested at the scene and taken to Coonabarabran police station and then onto hospital for further assessment, where she remained on Monday evening under hospital guard. | |
NSW police said there was no ongoing threat to the community and police weren’t looking for anyone else in relation to the incident. | |
