Police are investigating the death of a woman at a house in Portsmouth. Two men have been arrested on suspicion of murdering a 32-year-old woman who was found dead at a house.
Officers were called to the property in Wadham Road at 07:37 BST on Thursday. Police said they were called at 07:37 BST on Thursday to a report that the body of Samantha Murphy had been found at the property in Wadham Road, Portsmouth.
The death is currently being treated as suspicious, police added. Two 32-year-old men, from Havant and Petersfield, are in custody, officers said.
The force said its neighbourhood policing team for the area would be carrying out regular patrols and asked people with concerns to speak to these uniformed officers. As part of the inquiry, detectives have appealed to trace a gold suitcase which they said could be in the Portsmouth area.
Anyone with information should contact Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary. Ch Insp Fifi Gulam-Husen said: "We understand that this is a concerning incident for the local community and specialist officers are working as a priority to establish the full circumstances.
"The neighbourhood policing team will be carrying out regular patrols in the area and anyone with questions or concerns can speak to these uniformed officers."
