One resident said those living in the property police were called to had only recently moved in. "The police had shut the road for about 20 minutes," he added. "I asked them what the problem was and they said they couldn't tell us.

"Later, a police officer came and knocked on the door and told us we had to get out because of a possible bomb - they didn't make it very clear but we looked out the back window and could see bomb squad vans."
