A 19-year-old man has died after being stabbed, prompting a murder investigation.

The victim was attacked in a car park at the Powerleague football complex on Market Street in Bury just before 21:00 BST on Friday, Greater Manchester Police said.

He sustained several stab wounds and died later from his injuries, the force said.

No arrests have been made in what police believe was a "targeted attack" and officers have appealed for any witnesses to contact them.
