Staffordshire Police has been approached for a statement. A police spokesperson said officers were called at 13:00 BST on Friday to Mill Meece Marsh, Cotes Heath, following reports of the light aircraft in a field.
The plane had to make a emergency landing, they said, and no injuries were reported.
They added officers had talked with the landowner about removing the aircraft.
